Come for Breakfast, Stay for Lunch at Langhorne Coffee House

By Marina Jokic

At Langhorne Coffee House, you will find scrumptious bites and some of the best beans in town. Serving the famed Covered Bridge Coffee Roasters coffee, the coffee house's menu has assembled the choicest hot and cold beverages, breakfast, and lunch fare. Their cold brews use cold water when brewing rather than hot, which extracts more flavor while preserving most of the acidity. Most people don't even feel the need to add cream or sugar, the coffee is so flavorful.

Owner Tracey Dornisch-Cramer knew early on in her life that she wanted to run her own business. She even studied small business management in college. True to form, Dornisch-Cramer opened her coffee house, in Langhorne, Penn., in 2007, just before the economic crash. Langhorne Coffee House, like most other business, was impacted by the event but endured. Thanks to help from her family, friends, and loyal customers, Dornisch-Cramer managed to see her business succeed even in the most trying of times.

"Our atmosphere is one of welcome," she said. "Our walls feature work by our monthly artist on the avenue, we feature homemade products by local vendors, and encourage our patrons to interact with one another and the community."

The welcoming vibe at Langhorne Coffee House is only one part of the equation of course. Customers flock to the coffee house to savor the many mouthwateringly appetizing dishes. From their signature veggie omelet with tri-colored bell peppers, tomatoes, spinach, and rich Provolone to the Florentine Sunset with crispy ham, tomato, spinach and over easy eggs on an English muffin, the menu is varied and constantly evolving. The fluffy bedrock pancakes are made according to an old recipe and are filled with fruity pebbles. In fact, there are nine different pancakes available including blueberry, banana, and even backpacker pancakes with granola.

Dornisch-Cramer gives credit to her customers, staff, and the Langhorne community at large for the coffee house's recognition on Trip Advisor.

"My staff strives to make sure all are welcome and greeted with a genuine smile every time," she said. "We are incredibly blessed to be surrounded by an amazing group of local patrons; it is this collaboration that makes the Langhorne Coffee House stand out."
