CrossFit Condor Brings Community Atmosphere

By Jake Levin

CrossFit Condor was founded over three years ago to bring high intensity, functional fitness and a community atmosphere to the west shore of Mechanicsburg, Pa., according to coaches Craig Moose, Eric Wolfe, and Corey Allen.

With an open, welcoming and inviting atmosphere, the goal of CrossFit Condor is to provide a fun and encouraging environment where members can work together toward achieving their fitness goals, better their overall health and push themselves to do things they never thought were possible. All of this can be done on an individual basis thanks to a staff that is approachable, encouraging and dedicated.

"CrossFit Condor is a great choice for someone who is looking for more one-on-one training and coaching without having to pay the price for a personal trainer," Wolfe said. "Our classes are such that each member gets individualized attention and focus on form and movement."

With a relatively small seven-member coaching staff, all of whom contains Level 1 CrossFit certifications, it's easy to build up long-lasting friendships with both trainers and fellow CrossFit members alike. Each coach makes it their responsibility to ensure that each and every member achieves their goals and later celebrates their achievements in a wide array of CrossFit programming that is scaled to a person's ability level.

"Our environment is fun, positive and a great place to meet life-long friends while getting fit and creating a better 'you,'" Wolfe said.

CrossFit Condor offers its members a way to work out that doesn't involve traditional barbells, pushups or pullups. The FXX programming provides a great alternative for those looking for a more body-weight cardio workout, or for those who want to modify their movements due to soreness or stiffness.

"It's a great way to get all walks of life involved in the world of CrossFit," Wolfe said.

The coaches all added that no matter what someone has accomplished on any given day at CrossFit Condor, they'll be leaving with a smile on their face and a sense of accomplishment.
