Quest Fitness & Yoga Studio Offers Small Class Sizes, Intimidation-Free Zone

By Kelly Church

Opened by a former dancer, Quest Fitness & Yoga Studio is a Gettysburg, PA gym with gentle yoga classes and more high energy strength classes. Hope Lawrence is the owner of the studio and wanted to give her community a place to work out that had small class sizes and wasn't intimidating.

"We strive to provide an atmosphere that is supported, fun and motivating," Lawrence said. "No matter if you are coming in for yoga, or for a more hardcore style workout like Core Fitness or TurboKick, we want our clients to feel they are amongst friends."

Yoga classes include Mommy & Baby Yoga, Beginners Yoga, Power Yoga and more. For those who want to take the higher intensity workout classes, Quest Fitness & Yoga Studio offers a BOSU class that combines cardio, core and strengthening entirely using a BOSU ball. Other classes include 30-minute Core, Kettlebell & Kore, Core Fitness. TurboKick is one of the studio's most intensive classes, featuring kickboxing, dance moves and motivating music.

The studio also has barre classes, combining Pilates, yoga and ballet. Barre classes give clients long, lean, sculpted muscles that dancers typically have.

"Whether they have been there one class or come on a weekly basis, it's a class setting that pushes and supports each other, not intimidates," Lawrence said.

Quest Fitness & Yoga Studio is starting to offer events for members that is fitness-centered but also a great opportunity to build that sense of community. Their first Yoga and Wine Night at Hauser Winery was hosted at the end of August for an evening of yoga on the winery patio. Guests will finish their night with wine tasting and getting to know their fellow members.

"Our mission is to provide our community with a place to feel confident, motivated and supported as they embark on their personal fitness journey: their quest," Lawrence said.

Pricing at Quest Fitness & Yoga Studio varies based on the type of class that is taken and what the duration of the class is. Classes range from $5 to $12. Class bundles can also be purchased in groups of ten or five. For more information on Quest Fitness & Yoga Studio, visit
